Dr. Dumebi Oforah (also known as Dr. O!) is a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) licensed in New Jersey and New York, with over a decade of comprehensive clinical experience in acute care, outpatient psychiatry, and inpatient psychiatric settings. His expertise spans psychiatric mental health, behavioral health, substance use disorders, and advanced practice. He provides virtual psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy for children and adults (all ages). He specializes in treating or managing symptoms related to anxiety, ADHD, depression, mood disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, agitation, psychosis, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, grief, insomnia, alcohol/drug use disorder, and stress using evidence-based, compassionate care. As a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner he is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse populations.
